The user’s email address must be changed in two places: Licensing System for general info and communications and Auth0 for login. In both systems, the email address must be unique and two individuals cannot have the same email address.
Changing a User’s Email Address in Licensing System
- Open the manager site and click on the “Architects” tab.
- Start typing the user’s name or email address in the search bar and select them from the list that appears.
- By default, the “Profile” page will be selected. If it is not, click on it in the left navigation bar.
- Scroll down to the “Contact Information” section.
- Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the “Contact Information” section and click on “Edit” in the menu that appears.
- Enter a new email address in the “Email Address” field and click on the “Save” button.
- A confirmation message will appear in the upper right corner of the window.
- If you attempt to enter an email address that is already in use, you will get an error message.
Changing a User's Email Address in Auth0
- Open the manager site and click the “Auth0 Dashboard” link in the top navigation.
- Type a portion of the email address for the user into the search box and press “Enter”.
- Click on the “Name” value for the user.
- Click the “Actions” menu to show the various actions that can be performed.
- Select the “Change Email” action.
- In the dialog that appears enter a new email address and click “Confirm”.
- This will cause a new email to be sent to the user asking them to verify their email address.
- If you attempt to enter an email address that is already in use, you will get an error message.
